Hand-Painted PhotoArtUnique hand-painted fine art prints
I create them by starting with one of my own fine art landscape images. I then hand-paint them, often using many different layers and incorporating thousands of brush strokes and many hours of work. I do not rely solely on Photoshop "applications" as other photographers do when they press a single button and transform a picture into an oil painting or watercolor. Each image is manually brushed and is unique to the extent it can never be exactly duplicated again. Prints are usually printed on a museum-quality fine art matte photo paper (normally 100% cotton rag) that is very similar to watercolor paper.
The PhotoArt styles are varied. Some may look similar to a watercolor, some to an oil painting, and others a unique style of their own. Unfortunately, at the small sizes images are displayed on the web, the subtleties of the intricate brush strokes cannot be easily seen. On a full size print, they can be. You can view the newest hand-painted PhotoArt images here. Older PhotoArt images here. Visit often - new images are being added all the time.
